Gautam Departs Salesforce After Year-Long Tenure
Pravar Gautam, Vice President of Alliances and Channel at Salesforce, has left the company after a year. In a post on LinkedIn, he expressed gratitude for his time at Salesforce and mentioned that leading the vendor's alliances and channel efforts in ASEAN allowed him to shape the vendor's ecosystem strategy at a pivotal moment for the industry.
Gautam stated that during his tenure, they strengthened strategic partnerships, expanded opportunities across customer segments, and evolved the ecosystem for an AI-first world. He credited leaders at Salesforce with trust, sponsorship, and support, and thanked his team for their commitment and resilience.
Prior to joining Salesforce in September 2025 from AWS, where he spent eight years building a strong legacy in leading and shaping the channel ecosystem in Asia Pacific, Gautam had emphasized that ecosystems will define winners in enterprise AI. He noted that as AI becomes agentic, value is increasingly created between organizations.
