GBT and Concur Unveil Enhanced Travel Management Capabilities
American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) and SAP Concur are expanding their Complete platform with new features aimed at streamlining travel management for businesses.
The alliance, announced in October 2025, brings together travel, expense, servicing, and marketplace capabilities. Since the partnership was formed, 80% of joint customers have adopted the Complete product, while the remaining 20% are transitioning to it.
A key component of the new features is data integration from Concur Travel and Amex GBT, which will provide travel managers with a more comprehensive view of bookings. This includes breakdowns by line of business, travel category, vendor, and traveller, allowing for better leakage reporting and cost control.
The 'Perks' feature offers supplier offers and loyalty benefits directly visible to travellers during the booking process, removing manual effort and enabling organisations to maximise their return on investment. Supplier offers in Perks will be generally available in August 2026, with benefits in Perks accessible to early adopters in the same month.
The Complete platform also introduces disruption alerts, providing travellers with notifications, guidance, support, and self-service trip changes during disruptions. This functionality is currently available for early adopter customers, with general availability planned for early 2027.
