Geeson Field Gets a Facelift Thanks to Local Support
The Morongo Valley Youth Softball League (MVYSL) has received a boost from local businesses and community members, thanks to which Geeson Field has undergone significant upgrades. The field's new clay for the infields, redone sprinklers, and rehabbed snack bar are now ready for the upcoming fall season.
Reporter Gabriel Hart spoke with Buddy Stogner of the MVYSL about the improvements. Stogner expressed gratitude to the donors who contributed to the renovations, which include Glen Shepherd, Ray Sessum, TJ Kendrick, Jesse Pasos, AJ Moraldy, and Jerry and Leslie Fisher from the community.
Local businesses such as Rapid Dry, SoCal West Coast Electric, Whitewater Rock and Supply Company, Home Depot, Fisher Plumbing, GM Window, Romo Construction, Just A Small Town Grill, and the Morongo Valley CSD also supported the project. With these upgrades, the league is now ready to start practices and games in September.
