Gemini 3.7 Flash Now Live in AI Mode for Google's Premium Subscribers
Google has added Gemini 3.7 Flash as a selectable model in AI Mode for its Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, a day after its initial release. According to Robby Stein, VP of Product for Google Search, this new model is 'better at following instructions + understanding your intent, so you get even more helpful responses.'
Gemini 3.7 Flash was introduced on August 13 as the company's 'most intelligent workhorse model yet for coding and agents.' It has now been rolled out globally to English-speaking subscribers in AI Pro and Ultra.
To access Gemini 3.7 Flash, users can select it from the model menu in AI Mode's 'Ask anything' bar, located under the 'Gemini 3 models' section. This new option does not yet replace Auto as the default model, but rather provides an additional choice for users to explore.
The rollout is significant for those tracking inconsistent AI Mode citations, as it allows them to compare results across different models, including 3.7 Flash, Auto, and Pro.
