Gemini for Home Gains New Voice Controls and Automation Features
Google has released another round of improvements for Gemini for Home, its AI-powered smart home assistant. The latest update brings expanded voice controls to Gemini for Home, allowing users to combine media and smart home commands in a single request.
This means that users can now issue complex commands like 'Turn off the lights and stop the music' or 'Skip this song and turn on the backyard lights.' This is a significant improvement over the original Google Assistant, which couldn't handle combined media and smart home commands.
Other changes in the update include fixes for issues with setting alarms and adding items to Google Keep lists. Additionally, automation options are now sorted alphabetically, making it easier for users to manage their automations.
