Gemini Intelligence Held Back: Google's Pixel 11 Delayed for AI Features
The latest Pixel phones are out, and they boast impressive AI features under the 'Gemini Intelligence' umbrella. One of the most significant upgrades is to Rambler, a voice-to-text tool that can now remove filler words and make edits on the fly.
Other notable improvements include an AI-infused lock screen experience and new custom widgets. Gemini itself has also become smarter, with advanced automation capabilities.
However, there's a catch: these features aren't available at launch outside of the US. Google has confirmed that they will be rolled out in waves over the course of the year, starting with Chrome Auto Browse for select Pixel and Samsung phones.
The problem is similar to Apple's 'Apple Intelligence' debacle last year, where consumers were left disappointed when key features weren't available at launch.
