Gemini Rolls Out on Android, Bringing Enhanced Tools and Features to Chrome
Google has rolled out Gemini in Chrome for Android users in the US after previewing it in May.
Gemini is a toolbar shortcut that provides quick access to various tools and features, including summarization of pages and answering questions about what you're viewing. The tools menu also lets users enable or disable Personal Intelligence, which includes connected apps like Calendar and Keep.
Another feature, Nano Banana integration, allows for image editing within Chrome.
In addition, Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers can use auto browse to handle tedious everyday tasks such as booking parking for events, updating online orders, or organizing travel. However, sensitive tasks require explicit user confirmation.
