Gemini's New Feature Helps You Never Lose Important Items Again
Google has rolled out an update to its Gemini feature as part of its September 2026 Android feature drop. The new addition enables users to ask Gemini to remember where they placed important items, such as passports or spare keys, without tracking tags.
To use this feature, users simply need to say something like 'Hey Google, remember in Find Hub that I put my passport in my bedroom drawer' and add an optional photo. This information will then be stored in a new 'remembered items' tab for easy access when needed.
Other features included in the update are Motion Assist, which helps alleviate motion sickness by adding an overlay to the display that moves along with the vehicle, and Guided Vision, which uses audio descriptions of what's around them based on camera feed from Gemini Live.
