The top prize went to GEM-4, a physical robotic assistant designed to help elderly and disabled individuals with daily living tasks. The system uses a Gemma 4 31B model to label video training clips and a fine-tuned controller to translate visual observations into real-world actions.

Other winners include Trido, an AI-powered digital whiteboard for educators; PenguinAgent, an offline-first research application for wildlife ecologists; DEMENTOR, an ambient edge companion for individuals with dementia; and Acuífero·Vigía, a flood early warning system deployed in South America.
