General Atlantic Revives IPO Plans with JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley
General Atlantic is reviving its plans for an initial public offering (IPO), with JPMorgan Chase & Co. serving as the lead bank, according to people familiar with the matter.
The New York-based investment firm has also selected Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. to assist with the listing, which could take place as early as this year.
General Atlantic has held preliminary meetings with potential investors, some of whom said that deliberations are ongoing and details of the offering may change.
The Wall Street Journal reported on the revival of General Atlantic's IPO plans earlier this month.
