Genspark has launched GenOffice, an open-source AI-native desktop office suite under the Apache 2.0 Licence.

Built in just seven days by a single engineer for roughly $10,000 in LLM token API costs, it embeds artificial intelligence directly into document states rather than using sidebar chatbots.

GenOffice provides native, layout-accurate compatibility for Microsoft Office formats (.docx.xlsx.pptx.pdf).
