German American Bancorp Invests Heavily in Amazon Amid E-Commerce Giant's Growth Spurt
German American Bancorp Inc., a financial institution, has invested $35.29 million in Amazon.com, Inc., purchasing 148,069 shares of the e-commerce giant's stock during the second quarter.
This investment represents 2.7% of German American Bancorp Inc.'s portfolio and makes it the company's eighth largest position.
Amazon has been expanding its services, including a deal to purchase up to $60 billion of Qualcomm's custom data-center chips through 2036, diversifying AWS's AI hardware supply beyond Nvidia and improving infrastructure flexibility.
