German Cargo Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Japan Due to Hydraulic System Problem

A German cargo plane made an emergency landing at Narita airport near Tokyo on August 27 due to a hydraulic system problem. The Boeing 777 aircraft, operated by AeroLogic, was carrying three crew members from Leipzig, Germany to Narita Airport when the incident occurred.

The plane made an emergency landing at around 7:40 am local time and stopped on the runway before being pulled out of the area. The hydraulic system problem caused a temporary closure of one of the runways for about 30 minutes, but operations were restored afterwards.

No crew members were injured in the incident, and Japanese authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident to determine the level of damage to the aircraft and the time needed to put it back into operation.
