Glenn Preaches Patience as Hancock Shines in Buffalo
Bills defensive back Jordan Hancock has made significant progress after recovering from shoulder surgery. Defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard praised Hancock's improved consistency and physical playstyle, stating that he 'plays fast' and 'plays violent.'
Hancock primarily played nickelback early in camp but is now transitioning to safety. Head coach Joe Brady referred to him as a 'chess piece' due to his ability to make plays on the field.
In contrast, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn emphasized the importance of patience after a poor first season as head coach. He acknowledged making mistakes, including handling the media spotlight poorly and being too quick to change course.
Glen also highlighted the potential of safety Dane Belton, who is competing with Andre Cisco and Malachi Moore for a starting position alongside veteran Minkah Fitzpatrick. Glenn and special teams coordinator Chris Banjo praised Belton's ball skills and strong understanding of his assignments.
