Gloucester Moose Lodge Organizes Back-to-School Supply Drive
The Gloucester Moose Lodge recently conducted a back-to-school supply drive for local elementary schools. The initiative collected classroom essentials such as tissues, Clorox wipes, and hand sanitizer.
Lowe's, Home Depot, Tractor Supply, and O'Reilly Auto Parts donated supplies to support the cause. In addition, the IDK Bar and Grill and Thursday night trivia players contributed $118 towards purchasing the necessary items.
Robert Dunnigan, Sergeant at Arms for the Gloucester Moose Lodge, oversaw the drop-off of the collected supplies to the elementary schools' Communication Engagement Coordinators. The recipients included Alma Kuennen for Abingdon, Debra Falkenberg for Bethel, Mollie Tranium for Petsworth, Autumn Basara for Botetourt, and Lauren Ginder for Achilles.
The donations will undoubtedly benefit the students and teachers of Gloucester's elementary schools as they prepare for a successful academic year.
