Gloucestershire Man Charged After Homophobic Abuse at Brighton Match
A man from Gloucestershire has been charged after an incident of homophobic abuse at a recent Brighton vs Leeds football match.
The incident occurred on Saturday, September 5, at the American Express Community Stadium in Brighton.
A man was arrested later that day and subsequently charged with using threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
Alexander Bishop, a 55-year-old from Martlet Way, Brockworth, Gloucester, will appear at Brighton Magistrates' Court on Thursday, December 3.
