GOL Names André Fehlauer CEO; Celso Ferrer Joins Boeing
GOL Linhas Aéreas, one of Brazil's leading airlines and largest low-cost carriers in Latin America, has announced a major leadership transition. Effective September 2026, André Fehlauer will become the airline's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), replacing current CEO Celso Ferrer who steps down on August 31, 2026.
Celso Ferrer is leaving GOL to join Boeing as President of Boeing Latin America and the Caribbean, effective September 4, 2026. During his career at GOL, Ferrer held a number of senior positions, including Chief Operating Officer and CEO, and worked as a commercial pilot flying the airline's Boeing 737 fleet.
GOL has selected André Fehlauer to succeed Ferrer, who returns to the airline after spending eight years with GOL in various roles. His previous career also includes positions at Citi and Credicard.
