The number of pending Golden Visa applications in Greece has decreased by 7.3% over the past two months, according to the country's Ministry of Migration and Asylum.

As of May 2026, there were 33,051 related applications awaiting a decision, down from 35,669 at the end of March.

The reduction was seen in both investor and family-member files, with 8.2% fewer pending investor files and 7% fewer pending family-member files.

Family applications still made up about 72% of the total queue, indicating that most of the principal investors were waiting for family members to process their applications.
