Goldman Sachs Boasts Strong Q2 Earnings on Trading Strength
The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE: GS) has reported strong quarterly earnings for Q2 2026, driven by robust trading activity.
In its Form 10-Q filing with the SEC, the company revealed that net revenues reached $20.338 billion in the second quarter, a significant increase from $14.583 billion in the same period last year.
The increase was largely due to higher revenues from investment banking, which rose to $3.400 billion from $2.194 billion, as well as market making activities, which generated $7.637 billion in revenue compared to $4.733 billion in Q2 2025.
