Goldman Sachs Boosts CoreWeave Price Target Amid Bullish Outlook
Shares of CoreWeave (CRWV) rose by 2% to $91 per share on Friday morning, following a 17% drop over the last five days. This move came after Gabriela Borges, a five-star analyst at Goldman Sachs (GS), raised her price target for the AI cloud firm, citing potential for bigger profits.
Borges, who covers the U.S. and Canadian tech industries, boasts a 58% success rate and has generated an average return of 13.20% for investors with her ratings. Despite maintaining a Hold rating on CoreWeave stock, Borges' bullish view on the New Jersey-based company is reflected in her raised price target.
The analyst noted that CoreWeave's Q2 2026 earnings showed demand exceeding supply, and highlighted the company's ability to charge higher prices for different generations of its GPUs. This, combined with CoreWeave's expansion of installed data-center infrastructure and increased contracted power, suggests a realistic path to improving profit margins over time.
On Wall Street, analysts continue to rate CoreWeave's shares as a Moderate Buy, based on 16 Buys, five Holds, and one Sell issued by 22 analysts. The average CRWV price target of $138.94 suggests about 53% upside in the months ahead.
