Goldman Sachs Boosts Stake in EasyJet Amid Ongoing Takeover Bid

Goldman Sachs Asset Management LP has disclosed its position in EasyJet PLC under Rule 8.3 of the Takeover Code.

The firm now owns 1.24% of EasyJet's shares, with a total holding of 9,435,244 ordinary shares worth approximately £63.5 million at the current market price.

In its most recent dealings, Goldman Sachs acquired an additional 424,969 shares in EasyJet on September 2, 2026, paying £2.85 million for them at a price of £6.7184 per share.

This disclosure comes as Eagle Bidco Ltd, indirectly owned by the Apollo Funds, managed by affiliates of Apollo Capital Management, L.P., continues its bid for EasyJet.
