Goldman Sachs Files for Registration of New Financial Instrument Linked to Lumentum Holdings

The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. has filed a registration statement for a new financial instrument linked to Lumentum Holdings Inc.'s common stock.

The Medium-Term Notes, Series F program of GS Finance Corp. will issue securities with a face value of $1,000 and a maturity date of August 31, 2029.

If the closing price of Lumentum's stock on any call date is greater than or equal to its starting price, the securities will be automatically called, and investors will receive a cash payment per security in U.S. dollars equal to the face amount plus a final contingent coupon payment and any previously unpaid contingent coupon payments.

The estimated value of these securities at the time of issuance is expected to be between $900 and $930 per $1,000 face amount.
