Goldman Sachs Holds Firm on BNZL as J.P. Morgan Reiterates Buy
Goldman Sachs has maintained a Hold rating on Bunzl plc (BNZL) in its latest report. The investment bank also set a price target of £3,000.00 for the company.
This is not the only view on BNZL from Goldman Sachs, but it does reflect the firm's current stance on the stock. In addition to this, a Hold rating was also given by Bernstein's Will Kirkness in a report issued on September 2. However, J.P. Morgan took a different view and reiterated its Buy rating on BNZL on the same day.
Looking at Bunzl plc's latest earnings release for the quarter ending December 31, the company reported a quarterly revenue of £6.09 billion and a net profit of £368.25 million. This compares to last year when the company earned a revenue of £6.06 billion and had a net profit of £301.7 million.
Corporate insider sentiment on BNZL is currently negative, with 32 insiders selling their shares over the past quarter. This increase in sales by corporate insiders compared to earlier this year suggests a bearish view on the stock.
