Goldman Sachs Investment Banking Fees Soar 52% in First Half of 2026
The Goldman Sachs Group's investment banking fees surged by 52% in the first half of 2026, reaching $6.24 billion year over year.
This growth was driven by strong performance across advisory and underwriting businesses, with equity underwriting revenues increasing by 90% to $1.52 billion and debt underwriting revenues advancing 37% to $1.84 billion in the first six months of 2026.
The firm's advisory revenues also saw a significant boost, rising by 46% year over year to $2.87 billion.
Goldman Sachs maintained its leading position in announced and completed M&A, equity and equity-related offerings, and leveraged lending in the second quarter of 2026, indicating its strong competitive position.
