Goldman Sachs Leads Top XRP ETF Holders as Institutional Exposure Surges
Financial institutions and investment firms have been steadily increasing their exposure to XRP through spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the United States. According to data from Bloomberg Intelligence, the top XRP ETF holders at the end of the second quarter were Goldman Sachs, Jane Street Group, and Millennium Management.
Goldman Sachs led the rankings with $87.45 million in ETF exposure representing approximately 84.05 million XRP, an increase of 83.15 million XRP during the quarter. The bank's Form 13F filed with the SEC covered holdings as of June 30 and was submitted on August 14.
Jane Street Group ranked second with $16.64 million in exposure representing nearly 16 million XRP, including an increase of approximately 13.57 million XRP. Millennium Management followed with $16.20 million tied to about 15.58 million XRP, although its equivalent token exposure increased by only 22,991 during the quarter.
Investment advisers dominated the holder categories with $120.89 million in exposure representing approximately 116.20 million XRP, an increase of 90.64 million XRP during the quarter. Hedge fund managers ranked second with $25.08 million tied to 24.11 million XRP, an increase of 3.09 million XRP.
