Goldman Sachs' Ontex Stake Fluctuates Across 3% Threshold
Goldman Sachs' significant stake in Ontex has seen fluctuations over the past week. According to transparency declarations from Ontex, on July 31, Goldman Sachs held a combined total of 2,642,720 voting rights and equivalent financial instruments, representing 3.21% of issued shares. This marked a crossing of the 3% threshold upward. However, just two days later on August 3, their holding decreased to 2,139,447 securities, representing 2.60% of issued shares, thereby crossing the 3% threshold downward.
Ongoing transparency declarations are required under Article 14 of the Belgian Law of May 2, 2007, which mandates disclosure of significant shareholdings in listed companies. Ontex has disclosed Goldman Sachs' combined holding as per these regulations, providing clarity on their stake in the company.
