Goldman Sachs Posts Record Q2 Earnings with $20.34 Billion Revenue

Goldman Sachs' Q2 2026 earnings report revealed a record-breaking revenue of $20.34 billion, marking a 39% year-on-year increase. The Global Banking and Markets division led the charge with revenues reaching $15.52 billion, a 53% jump compared to last year.

The unit's success was driven by strong performances in both Advisory and Underwriting, which saw revenue increases of 17% and 130%, respectively. Investment banking fees also surged by 55% to $3.4 billion.

Asset & Wealth Management recorded revenues of $4.6 billion, up 20% from last year, thanks to net long-term inflows of $91 billion and a record assets under management of $4.04 trillion.

The firm's confidence in its ability to sustain profitability was reflected in an 11% increase in its quarterly dividend to $5.00. The company also announced a strong buyback from the $4 billion program.
