Goldman Sachs Posts Strong Q2 Earnings with $17.3B in Net Revenue
Goldman Sachs reported strong quarterly earnings for Q2 2026, with $17.3 billion in net revenue and $3.5 billion in net earnings.
The firm's return on equity stood at 12.8% for the quarter, while its efficiency ratio improved to 62.0%, down from 68.0% in Q2 2025.
Investment banking fees reached $1.96 billion, asset and wealth management revenue hit $4.69 billion, and global banking and markets revenue came in at $10.10 billion for the quarter.
The company's capital position remained strong, with a stress capital buffer of 3.8% and a common equity tier 1 ratio of 15.0%, well above regulatory minimums.
