Goldman Sachs is set to announce its second-quarter 2026 results on July 14, ahead of the market open. Analysts expect an adjusted Earnings Per Share (EPS) of $14.20 to $14.47, a significant increase from last year's Q2 figures of $10.91. This would represent a 30% to 33% year-over-year growth in EPS.

The consensus revenue forecast for the second quarter is between $15.9 billion and $16.49 billion, down from the record-breaking $17.23 billion seen in the first quarter. The lower quarter-over-quarter growth rates are expected to reflect a normalization of equity trading conditions.

Goldman's M&A deals in EMEA reached a 19-year high in the first half of 2026, accounting for 44% of all deal value in the region. The company is also poised to lead OpenAI's pending IPO, which would bring in significant underwriting fees and boost the third and fourth quarter consensus forecasts.

The options market is pricing in a 4.78% move on the news, with a breakout above $1,067 potentially targeting $1,096 and $1,123. A close below $1,029 could expose the 200-period EMA at $1,014.
