Goldman Sachs Reclaims Top Spot Among Institutional XRP ETF Holders
Goldman Sachs has regained its position as the largest institutional holder of XRP exchange-traded funds, after previously exiting its positions in the first quarter. The bank's updated XRP ETF portfolio features investments across various funds managed by Bitwise, Franklin Templeton, Canary Capital, 21Shares, and Grayscale.
Goldman Sachs' largest position is 2,238,407 shares in Franklin Templeton's XRPZ fund, followed by 2,208,949 shares in the Bitwise XRP ETF. The bank also holds significant stakes in Canary's XRPC and 21Shares' TOXR funds.
The total value of Goldman Sachs' XRP ETF position is approximately $86.5 million, a substantial decrease from its previous exposure of around $152 million. However, this marks a notable return to the market for the bank.
Institutional interest in XRP continues to grow, with major banks such as JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley also disclosing their XRP ETF holdings. This trend is part of a broader effort by institutions to engage with digital assets and support tokenization initiatives.
