Goldman Sachs Rides Market Turbulence to Record Revenue
Goldman Sachs has seen its stock jump by approximately 1.1% to $1,012.75, leading the market rebound.
The bank's success is largely attributed to the performance of financial stocks and Goldman's own industry-wide prime-brokerage revenue, which exploded to a record $22.5 billion during the first half of 2026.
This surge in revenue can be attributed to hedge funds borrowing more, trading harder, and repositioning faster.
Goldman is also expanding its asset-management operation through a deal to acquire LCN Capital Partners for up to $410 million.
The bank's valuation has risen to 23.84% above its GF Value estimate of $817.80, indicating that the market is already pricing in a powerful earnings runway.
