Goldman Sachs Sees Revenue Surge Amid Shareholder Shake-Up
The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (GS) reported significant changes in its shareholder base during the second quarter. RFG Advisory LLC decreased its holdings in GS by 41.5% after selling 1,684 shares, leaving it with a stake worth $2,402,000.
However, other institutional investors increased their stakes in the company. Strive Financial Group LLC boosted its holdings by 316.7%, while BOK Financial Private Wealth Inc. raised its stake by 188.9%.
The firm's quarterly revenue rose 39.4% to $20.34 billion, beating analyst estimates. Goldman Sachs' earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter was $20.98, surpassing expectations of $14.47. The company also announced a quarterly dividend of $5.00, paid on September 29th.
Goldman Sachs' investment strategy chief, Sharmin Mossavar-Rahmani, plans to retire, with Farshid Asl and Matt Weir taking over as co-heads of the Investment Strategy Group.
