Goldman Sachs Surpasses Other Giants as Largest Institutional XRP ETF Holder
Goldman Sachs has emerged as the largest reported institutional holder of U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds, according to Bloomberg's ETF analyst James Seyffart. The bank holds approximately $87.4 million in XRP ETF exposure, a significant increase from its prior position of around $4.3 million.
The data compiled by Seyffart shows that Goldman Sachs' underlying SEC filing confirms the reporting period and the bank as the institutional investment manager. However, 13F positions should not be automatically interpreted as directional XRP bets, as these disclosures show ownership of ETF securities rather than direct XRP holdings.
Cumulative XRP ETF net inflows have reached around $1.79 billion by August 26, after climbing steadily through June, July, and August. The demand for XRP-linked investment products has accelerated relative to other major crypto assets, despite the token's recent price performance being less convincing.
