Goldman Sachs Trims Walmart Price Target Amid Valuation Concerns
Goldman Sachs has trimmed its price target for Walmart Inc. (NYSE:WMT) to $130 from $141 while maintaining a Buy rating on the stock.
The decision was made after Walmart's second-quarter earnings report, which showed a slowdown in comparable sales and changes in pricing within health and wellness.
Despite beating earnings expectations with adjusted profits of $0.81 per share on revenue of $187.9 billion, the market reacted negatively, causing shares to fall 9.2%.
