The Amgen Irish Open Pro-Am golf tournament is set to be a spectacle of sports stars next week. The event, which takes place from September 9-13 at Trump International Golf Links Ireland in Doonbeg, Co. Clare, will feature some of the biggest names in GAA, rugby, and boxing joining forces with professional golfers like Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry, Jon Rahm, and Brooks Koepka.
Among the sporting line-up are former Ireland and Munster scrum-half Conor Murray, Mayo footballer Ryan O'Donoghue, Limerick hurler Gearóid Hegarty, Cork camogie player Clíona O'Callaghan, Westmeath ladies footballer Anna Jones, former Galway hurler Joe Canning, and retired boxer Michael Conlan.
The tournament promises to be a spectacular week for sports fans, with the GAA champions adding an extra sporting dimension. Fans will also have the chance to meet some of this year's All-Ireland champions when they take to the main stage at the island of Ireland's national open.
