Golf Retailer 2nd Swing Opens First Florida Location
A long-vacant storefront in Northlake Commons, a strip mall east of Interstate 95 in Palm Beach Gardens, will soon be home to a golf equipment store. The site at 3942 Northlake Blvd., previously occupied by Jo-Ann Fabrics, has been rebranded as the new location for 2nd Swing, one of the country's largest retailers of new and used golf clubs and equipment.
According to a store sign, this will be 2nd Swing's first Florida outpost; it currently operates locations in Texas, Maryland, Delaware, Arizona, and Minnesota. The company plans to stock its shelves with an assortment of golf clubs from prominent manufacturers including PING, Titleist, Callaway, Taylormade, Mizuno, Cobra, Cleveland, Odyssey, Scotty Cameron, PXG, and Handmade Stix.
The Northlake Commons shopping plaza has been home to a Home Depot and Ross Dress for Less store. The Jo-Ann Fabrics location closed as part of the company's 2025 restructuring effort that saw it shutter half of its 800 stores across the country.
