Google Abandons China for Pixel Manufacturing
Google has been expanding its manufacturing capabilities in Vietnam and India to reduce its dependence on China for Pixel production. According to sources, the tech giant plans to shift all of its Pixel smartphone, watch, and wireless earbud production out of China by 2027.
The move is part of Google's effort to diversify its supply chain and lower its dependency on a single country. Although a significant portion of output still continues in China, the company has been aggressively expanding capacity in Vietnam and India in recent years.
