Google Ad Business Faces $218 Billion Lawsuit Over Alleged Monopoly Practices
Google's ad business is facing a potential $218 billion lawsuit due to alleged overpayments to advertisers. The law firm Keller Postman, which has experience with mass arbitration campaigns against Big Tech companies, has begun filing thousands of demands for arbitration on behalf of Google advertisers.
The claims are based on the fact that two federal judges have found Google guilty of operating illegal monopolies in search and display ad markets. According to Ashley Keller, a founding partner at Keller Postman, if you've advertised with Google through its ad tech stack or on search, you may be owed money.
Keller Postman has already filed thousands of arbitration demands against Google, and expects the number to reach tens of thousands by the end of the process. The firm's goal is to help advertisers recoup their losses due to Google's alleged monopoly practices.
