Google Ads Migrates ACA & Campaign-Level Broad Match to AI Max on September 1
Google Ads has announced that it will begin migrating Automatically Created Assets (ACA) and campaign-level broad match settings to AI Max on September 1, 2026. The move is part of Google's ongoing efforts to improve its advertising platform.
The email sent to some advertisers explains the changes: campaigns with ACA will be upgraded to AI Max with search term matching and text customization enabled by default, while those with campaign-level broad match settings will upgrade to AI Max with search term matching enabled by default.
