Google Ads has introduced a new beta experiment to help advertisers optimize their search campaigns. The test, which can be found in the Experiments area of Google Ads, allows users to test different budget and bidding targets for Search campaigns.

According to Thomas Eccel, who first spotted the update on LinkedIn, this new feature includes A/B tests for different budgets and ROAS/CPA targets across multiple Search campaigns. He also noted that AI Max experiments can keep brand and location controls in place, and performance planner recommendations can be applied directly to campaigns.

The beta experiment is still in its early stages, and it's unclear when or if it will roll out to all users. However, for those who are eligible to participate, this new feature could potentially help them save money on their ad spend while also improving the performance of their search campaigns.
