Google Advertisers May Get Up to 30% Back in Payouts
Law firms are recruiting advertisers who bought Google search and display ads between August 2016 and present to claim potential payouts.
The US government, joined by several states, has brought antitrust cases against Google. In 2024, a federal judge ruled that the company had illegally monopolized online search and search advertising. Another federal judge in 2025 ruled that Google had illegally monopolized certain digital advertising technology.
Advertisers seeking compensation for alleged overcharges must go through arbitration rather than the courts, as specified in Google's advertising terms.
