Google and Lightspeed Launch AI-Focused Sprint for Indian Tech Founders
Google and Lightspeed have partnered to launch an AI-focused workshop for consumer tech and fintech founders in India. The one-day sprint, called Google for Startups Sprint, is designed to help founders accelerate their AI capabilities and business growth.
The sprint will bridge the gap between advanced AI architecture and venture-backed unit economics by combining Google's deep engineering capabilities with Lightspeed's experience backing category-defining consumer tech and fintech founders in India.
According to Ragini Das, Head of Google for Startups India, 'Our goal with this Sprint is to provide founders with a deeply practical, hands-on environment.' Participants will work alongside experts in deep structural strategy sessions and hands-on workshops, giving them the tools to build and deploy enterprise-grade AI agents using Gemini and Vertex AI.
The sprint is built on three core pillars: The Architecture (Google-Led), The Economics (Lightspeed-Led), and The Execution (The Live Build). Founders will get under-the-hood access to Google's specialized repository templates and technical guidance from engineering teams, while partners from Lightspeed India will break down how they evaluate margins, unit economics, and sustainable growth in the current market.
