Google and MrBeast Team Up for Multiyear Deal Promoting Gemini and Fitbit
Google has signed a multiyear deal with MrBeast to promote its AI chatbot Gemini, Google Health, and wearables subsidiary Fitbit. The partnership kicks off on September 5th, where MrBeast will use Gemini to help him execute wild concepts in a video that follows him and his crew as they attempt to survive extreme climates.
As part of the deal, MrBeast will also be the face of Google's new Gemini campaign, showcasing how he uses the app to help with the logistics of his signature stunts. He'll also sport a Fitbit Air in an upcoming challenge on his channel.
The partnership is unusual for Google, which occasionally sponsors YouTubers but rarely commits to multiyear deals. However, YouTube is currently on a blitz tempting creators with lucrative deals to prevent them from jumping ship to platforms like Netflix.
