Google Boosts Quick Share with Tap-to-Share Feature for Android Devices

Google has enhanced its Quick Share feature to allow Android users to share contacts, photos, and videos by tapping devices together. This update brings a faster sharing experience similar to Apple's AirDrop and NameDrop features.

The new tap-to-share mode is initially available on Pixel 6 and newer models, with select Samsung Galaxy devices to follow soon. The feature will expand to more devices by the end of 2026.
