Google Breaks Ground on $15 Billion Data Center Campus in Tulsa County
Google and Beale Infrastructure have announced details for their new data center campus in unincorporated Tulsa County, Oklahoma. The campus is a major investment that will join Google's global network of data centers, powering technology such as Google search, online banking, hospitals, and emergency systems.
The 506-acre campus near Cherokee Industrial Park will bring significant economic benefits to the area, including high-quality jobs, opportunities for local businesses, and contributions to lasting value in the community. Since setting down roots with its first data center campus in Pryor in 2011, Google has invested over $15 billion statewide.
The project is part of a larger effort by Google to expand its digital infrastructure footprint in Oklahoma, with new facilities under construction in Stillwater and Muskogee County. The company's investments and technologies have helped provide more than $2.6 billion of economic activity for tens of thousands of Oklahoma businesses, publishers, nonprofits, creators, and developers since 2025.
The data center campus will be powered by Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO) and include the construction of a new on-site substation funded by Beale. The project also includes infrastructure upgrades, such as the installation of 1.5 miles of new water lines for Washington County Rural Water District #3.
