Google Brings Voice-Activated Powers to Gmail, Docs, and Keep
Google has expanded the capabilities of its Gemini AI assistant by introducing new voice-activated features in Gmail, Docs, and Keep. These new capabilities aim to make Google's products more accessible and convenient for users, allowing them to complete tasks using just their voice.
The company has introduced three new conversational features: Gmail Live, Docs Live, and Keep Live. Gmail Live enables users to search their inbox conversationally, while Docs Live acts as a thought partner to help users build structured documents quickly. Keep Live allows users to capture, structure, and refine their ideas into organized notes using just their voice.
These features are part of Google's effort to make its products more user-friendly and intuitive. The company is targeting business customers with these new capabilities, which will be available in Gmail and Keep for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers, and in Docs for Pro and Ultra subscribers. All of these features are coming soon for Google Workspace business customers.
