Google Brings Voice Assistants to Gmail, Google Docs, and Keep
Google has launched new voice tools across its popular apps Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Keep. The features, powered by Gemini AI technology, allow users to interact with their digital content using only their voices.
Gmail Live is available for Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers, while Docs Live and Keep Live are accessible on the Pro and Ultra plans. Initially, these voice tools will be released in English on iOS and Android devices.
With Gmail Live, users can ask questions about information contained in their inbox and receive a transcript of the conversation. The system also displays relevant search results.
Docs Live enables users to describe what they want to write, and Gemini prepares an initial draft by drawing from sources like Gmail and Drive. Keep Live serves as a voice-driven digital scratchpad for dictating notes or assembling lists with AI assistance.
