Google Calculator Joins Android Icon Redesigns with Gradient Update
Google has continued its redesign of icons for various apps on Android devices. The latest update is for the Google Calculator, which now features a new gradient design. The redesigned icon includes rounded containers for the minus, multiplication, plus, and equals symbols, with a darker shade used for the operator symbols compared to the equals sign.
The color scheme of green with a darker tone has been chosen for the icon, but it's unclear why this specific palette was selected. In contrast, previous versions of the Calculator app had a gray and blue design that matched the Google Clock app.
Version 9.3 of Google Calculator is now available on the Play Store as part of its broader rollout to Android devices. The update does not include any other changes to the application's functionality.
