Google Cloud Brings AI-Powered Gemini to Mahindra Vehicles

Google Cloud and Mahindra have partnered to integrate Gemini Enterprise AI directly into vehicles manufactured by the Indian automobile company. The automotive agent in Gemini Enterprise is being integrated into MAIA, Mahindra's Artificial Intelligence Architecture platform.

The integration allows for natural language requests and interactions with a car and its functions, making it easier for drivers to navigate and explore rich features. Sashi Sreedharan, Managing Director of Google Cloud India, explained that this partnership enhances the in-vehicle assistant with an automotive agent built on Gemini Enterprise.

This move marks a significant development in AI operating at the edge, where digital and physical technologies work together. The real opportunity lies not just in Gemini as an AI assistant but in embedding tech into all-important endpoints like vehicles.
