Google Cloud Brings AI Powerhouse to Legal Industry
Google Cloud has launched Gemini Enterprise for Legal, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform designed specifically for the legal industry. The platform is part of Google Cloud's vertical-industry-specific AI push and was developed in collaboration with law firms that provided input into its design.
Gemini Enterprise for Legal includes pre-packaged and reusable skills, connections to key corporate systems via Model Context Protocol (MCP), pre-built legal AI agents, and an ecosystem of implementers. The platform automates workflows such as regulatory horizon scanning, contract review and negotiation, and data discovery, among others.
Partners with specialized agents include Deloitte's Contract Summarize Pro Agent and the Eudia Knowledge agent, which expedites legal research and high-volume document analysis. Google Cloud has also created alliances with systems integrators and legal-tech specialists to help customers integrate and scale Gemini Enterprise for Legal across their enterprise and tech stack.
The platform aims to enhance legal practices' productivity, sharpen their focus on legal expertise and advice over manual work, and strengthen client relations through quality legal representation.
